Water Steam Distillation
Place 100g of clove powder in a 2000mL round-bottomed flask and add 1000mL water. The volatile oil extraction device was set for reflux extraction for 4h to collect the volatile oil. Add 5mL naphthyl to the volatile oil of the collected Chemicalbook and shake it slightly. The oil and water were stratified, the water layer was removed, and the pure clove oil was obtained by steam at 40ºC. The yield was 0.67%.
